On April 29th thebluedoor hosted the launch event of Digital Surrey at the newly opened Surrey Sports Park in Guildford. Thank you to all those that came along and we hope you all had as much fun as we did.
Surrey based innovation hub, iBundle generously supported the event by ensuring there was enough money behind the bar to keep everyone’s glass full throughout the evening. Benjamin Ellis also delivered an insightful and thought provoking speech on the myths of measurement in social media – which sparked some very interesting discussions!
Attendees were treated to lively debates, drinks and even a specially made Digital Surrey cake! The event marked the first of what is set to become a regular meet up for anyone interested in the digital world. Digital Surrey has been set up to provide a platform for like-minded people to meet, network, learn and share. Digital Surrey has already attracted so much interest and enthusiasm – a big thank you to everyone for taking the time to get involved and make this work.
We are very much looking forward to the next event which is scheduled to take place on May 20th with James Firth, of Dalton Firth Limited, as the speaker.
The venue for the next Digital Surrey is still to be confirmed, but is sure to be staying true to its Surrey roots.
The website is still under construction but in the meantime, we will be staying in touch via the Digital Surrey group on LinkedIn.
