Following our last event in March we’re very excited to be hosting our first quarterly DigitalSurrey on June 13 at G Live in Guildford.

With sponsorship from WXG (Web Expo Guildford) / Kyan and theblueballroom, June’s DigitalSurrey will host a discussion on digital strategy: from services to social, led by a panel of experts.

About the panel

DS Panel June

Lucie Glenday, Programme Director at Surrey County Council

Lucie is responsible for overseeing and improving access to reliable Broadband throughout the County and leading on the work to ensure all of Surrey’s communities have the skills and the confidence to access services online. She is also tasked with nurturing a “digital by default” model for the Council by building and championing a ‘digital culture’ that puts the user first and delivers the best, low-cost public services possible. Prior to joining the Council, Lucie worked at Cabinet Office as Head of Business Transformation, creating and running a digital consultancy service for the rest of Central Government.

Ted Nash, CEO at Liquid5

Having raised investment aged 14, Ted became the first teenager in the world to achieve 1,000,000 downloads on the App Store. At 19 years old, Ted became the youngest employee at management level for NewsInternational as Head of Digital Product Innovation. He has been covered extensively in national media and now runs Liquid5; a dynamic, well funded and fast-paced start up with his partner and CTO, Nick Reffitt. Ted also created Nascore; a seed fund which invests in talented young individuals.

Over the last decade he’s worked on trading systems for a variety of investment banks as well as on Google’s advertising and mobile search systems. Ade is particularly interested in Developer Experience, distributed systems and the future of online news.

David Woodhead, Social CRM lead at CSC
